Last but not least...

Well this seems to be the end of the road for our writing class.... these past couple of weeks have been so crazy it's hard to find time to get anything done...lol I think procrastination got the best of me towards the end of this term. I hope that everyone has done well as I know I could of done better.. Best of luck to all

Fun is almost over...

Well the week is almost over and it is almost time to go pick up my son in Alabama. I have so enjoyed this weeks vacation because I have never had a break like this since I gave birth to him 7 1/2 years ago. I could get use to this...lol. I just wish there was more time in the week to get my homework done because between the 16 hours I will e driving plus having to go to work as soon as I get back it's a little crazy..oh well, I've enjoyed every minute of it! Let's just hope that it will happen again.

Can't wait!!

Well spring break starts at the end of today for my son and I am so happy that he will be going with his dad to Alabama for a week. I have never been kid free in almost 8 years! This is so exciting!! Don't get me wrong, I will greatly miss my son but he really needs to spend time with his dad. So much to do will a week be enough..lol knowing me I will probably just stay home and work on both of my final papers that are due soon. Have fun everyone!!

WOW

Time flies when you are having fun...lol. It seems as if this past week has been so busy worring about other things that I don't have time to worry about what is important like school....It just seems like this week, I have every where to go and somewhere to be. new friend...new agenda...if you catch what I mean. I'm a cougar..HAHA.. Well it's all fun and games for now. Only the future will hold the true meaning...

Will it never end....

This week has been crazy!..trying to get everything done and not having enough time or my computer not working right has put me behind tremendously...So much drama at work between a bunch of grown women...I just cant take it right now. Didn't get the new job I was trying to get but ohwell, there will be more...I just want to know what else will go wrong this week..lol I know I should never ask that question but I just had to. sorry for complaining but I gotta get ready for work..lol

I know I should never ask that question but I don't think it could get any worse...well I know it could I just hope it doesn't...

My day just started crappy from the time I woke up. I didn't sleep well at all and I was up at the butt crack of dawn... why... I don't know. I ended up going back to sleep for a few hours but that just put my day way behind, plus I was having weird dreams. We were late for my sons baseball practice...my son had a melt down at practice because he had 3 coaches trying to tell him what to do at the same time... now mind you I had to "disappear" because my son always looks for my approval when someone wants him to do something...he's afraid he might get in trouble. So I walked away trying to make a phone call to a friend of mine that could work one on one with my son, and as they call me back on the phone, my phone goes ape sh@$, and drains my battery and cuts my signal and turns off. can't get it to turn back one... FRUSTRATED!! Then I have to talk to my son and tell him to stop freaking out over nothing... Finally practice is over... Get loaded up in my truck... What do ya know, my truck won't start!! I had to find someone with cables to jump me. Got it started and let it run for a while, everyone is gone now, go to put it in gear and it starts to shake and mis fire like it is going to stall out...so I out it in park and try reving the engine to cycle things through..just filled it up thought it might be bad gas. Finally I was like F it...I have things I had to do today and if it blew up it blew up!..I just didn't care anymore. I went to a place and had my battery tested and it is perfectly fine, of course it is cause it had been running so the battery is recharged. Somethings wrong but no body knows what..here's the kicker, my check engine light is on, you say "why don't I have it tested?"...well the part where you should hook up the little diagnostic machine, that little plug part is not for my truck, some one had spliced in one and it doesn't connect with my trucks computer so in order to find out what is truly wrong with my truck, I would have to leave it for a day or two for my mechanic to test every part to find out what is wrong. I am the sole transporter for my house, I can't go with out a vehicle for up to 2 days...
So there is my frustration for the day, I only hope that tomorrow is better but I know it won't because I have to work 3rd shift and things are getting really stupid there too...What to do...

Busy week

Well it has been a busy week this week between work and school and doing stuff with my son, I am exhausted. Tuesday night we went to see the Harlem Globetrotters in Daytona Beach. What a wonderful time we had!! We laughed all night. They were a great bunch of guys. Of course I had to buy my so the Jersey and the shorts to match it plus a basketball that said Globetrotters on it. We ended up getting them to autograph a Globetrotter basketball so of course I had to buy another basketball that he could use to play outside with...almost $200.00 later...IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!! To see the look on my son's face of enjoyment and excitement was worth every penny. Then today, we had to drive almost an hour for our cub scout fishing trip, where they earned about 5 beltloops and pins, that was on an island. We had to take this little boat across the river to get to the island at 8am. We had fun but it would of been WAY better if it weren't 50 degrees, windy as all can be and RAINING!!! We were there till almost 5pm. ( you know I was miserable!) Even thought we were wet and cold, we still had fun. My son learned to bait his hook for the first time with a real worm (you know I don't touch that stuff..lol) He was so excited. So we fished and hiked all day and had fun but I am exhausted!! Why do I want to leave...

Don't get me wrong, I love the beach weather and driving on the beach cause it is sooo much easier to load and unload my truck when it it right there on the sand. But I HATE the heat. It gets tooo hot to do anything outside that is not water related so my son never wants to go oout unless it's to the beach or Daytona Lagoon or Acquatica in Orlando. And don't even get me started on trying to camp with the cub scouts in 110 degree heat with no wind or water....not a pretty picture when I'm all sweaty..lol I want to go back up to Jersey because I still have all my friends up there even after 15 years of being down here. They are my extended family and it is ALWAYS good when I go up there to visit. Also the school system down here really really stinks!! I know from personal experiance because I moved down here my freshman year of high school and I see the lack of caring and education with my son as he is attending school here. It just really doesn't feel like home here and it never really has...besides it's time to move on...I love the snow..lol sorry to all who have been snowed in..

And yes that is a REAL Budweiser motercycle but he is not allowed to ride it yet but he does have a dirt bike that he is pretty good at riding.

BIKE WEEK

Well this is the un-official start to bike week here in Daytona Beach and it has already proven to be very interesting....I can just see how fun work will be for the next 2 weeks...wish me luck...

p.s. It's not the bikers I'm worried about, it's the locals that get really stupid this time of year!!

let's hope...

Well for almost 2 years now I have been trying to get out of Florida to move back up north and when I think I have the perfect plan something always comes up and ruins it. I did find one place today so I e-mailed the owner to try and find out more information about it so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!! Let's just hope and pray that this will finally be the one that will work for me and my family. Till next time...
